The G Family

I volunteer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a wonderful organization that offers remembrance photography.  You can read more about it here.

Many of our parents and volunteers that serve NILMDTS call these sweet little ones “angel babies”.  And I recently learned that a baby following an angel baby is called a “rainbow baby”- the rainbow that comes after the storm.  How beautiful a thought- a rainbow baby.  Our work with NILMDTS is very private and their story isn’t something I will share, but I do have permission to share that through NILMDTS is how we met.  Meet the G family and their sweet rainbow baby:

I received an email from Mom a few weeks ago requesting a session with their little one, baby F.  I was so excited to hear from them that as I read their email tears were streaming down my face.  What wonderful news they had to share!  And I was so honored that they would ask me to photograph their family.  It was a great session and I’m so pleased to bring you a few of my favorites-and it was hard to find a few-so many were my faves:)

I think he may be a bit of a mama’s boy:)

Then again, he may be a daddy’s boy:)

Or a grandpa’s boy?

Ok, maybe he’s a grandma’s boy:)

One thing is for sure.  This family is love…

A family at last:)

Thank you, G family, for the privilege to capture your family’s memories…
