I had the pleasure of meeting the F family through their neighbors that were in front of my camera in 2010. We’ve been in contacted for awhile and I was thrilled when I was able to meet them! Meet L & M! They’re getting hitched in July and I’m the lucky one that gets to document it! These two are super great and I’m so excited to be their photographer:) With any photography assignment my goal is to define through pictures who they are together, but in an authentic way. I want to photograph who L & M are as a couple and preserve who what defines them right now. LIfestyle photography’s purpose is to not only to remember how we looked, but how we loved. One of the greatest compliments I receive is when someone says that I captured the essence of a family or couple. Relationships grow and mature and their lives will look different in years to come so I wanted to capture who they are now. The images below are a result of their love, laughter, and delight with each other:)

Oh how I love this family! I’ve known them since we traveled back to Colorado and they are some of my favorite people in the world. Our boys are both three and best buds:) and their youngest just turned one! You may remember seeing their birthday bash here. She knows how to throw a birthday party! I can’t believe a year’s gone by since their baby was a newborn. Wow time just goes by so fast! Here’s your sneak peek W fam! Enjoy!!!

It was yet another soooo cold day in the amazing city of Denver, but I never let that stop me from documenting life and having fun! I am so blessed to capture life in the form of photography. In the A family’s case we had either cold or colder to choose from and they were such troopers! It’s been awhile since I’ve last blogged! The holidays and vacation have got me a little off my regular routine. I appreciate the patience and flexibility my clients have given me- THANK YOU-just more proof that my clients rock!!!
Meet the K family!! They are two of the cutest little cutie-pies EVER! We had a great time reading, playing with leaves, and loving… This family rocked their session and I must say that even though I ran into the beginning of the game a tiny bit (diehard Husker fans-Yay GO BIG RED!!!) they were ever so forgiving:)

I’m so excited to blog about this family! Mom called me for an emergency session because her oldest boy was on leave for that weekend only and was about to deploy- he serves our country in the US Navy. It had been awhile since they had last taken family pictures and I am honored that she called me. I know you can see the love and connection between this family. The M fam is no stranger in front of my camera! We’ve had three happy years together:) I’ve been photographing their three little ones since their youngest was only months old and I can’t believe how big they’ve all gotten. It’s enough to realize how fast paced life moves. Which is exactly why I love lifestyle photography! Lifestyle photography is so much more than a portrait session-it’s enjoying time together as a family and remembering the little things that make your family unique. And uniqueness is one of things I love most about this family!! Mom had this great idea to head over to the CU campus in Boulder, CO as she and her boys (and girl) are HUGE Buff fans. This was difficult for me as I am a UNL alumni and bleed Husker Red, but I survived;) And the CU campus is incredibly beautiful and I can’t wait to have another session there again soon-did I really just say that?!? We walked all around the campus- played, smiled, and shot pictures. We ended up at the stadium entrance to finish the session with some really fun stylized CU Black and Gold lifestyle photos. Meet my sister and my future brother in law! They are getting married September 24th, I mean 23rd:) I was so excited to do a beloved engagement session with them-so excited! They are a fun couple and my sister is just one of the most beautiful people in the world. Beautiful. Congratulations you guys are we’re almost T-minus 30 days!!! Whooo!
